Each year millions of Americans avoid the dentist. It is estimated that up to 75 million people in the U.S. live with some degree of dental fear. Regardless of the reason, too many of these individuals have simply stopped seeking routine dental care. Even when faced with the warning signs of pain and decay these individuals still steer clear of the dentist.

Imagine undergoing a complex dental treatment like a dental implant, extraction, or oral surgery. When your treatment is complete, you have no recollection of the time it took, the pain, the noise, or the discomfort you were expecting.

We are pleased to offer our patients the option of comfortable, safe, and effective sedation dentistry. Our options include:

  • Nitrous Oxide

  • Oral Sedation

  • IV Sedation

There is no need to be nervous about sedation in our dental offices in Bellevue and Issaquah as we are licensed by the American Dental Association. Our caring team is here for you and treats you with both respect and professionalism at all times.

Feel Relaxed and Well Cared For.

Without exception, each member of the office staff, from reception to the doctors was informative, attentive, and responsive. They explained clearly each step of my situation and the proposed treatment plan and made me feel relaxed and well cared for. I was truly impressed with their professionalism.

Our Sedation Options

We cater to all comfort levels.

We offer nitrous oxide inhalation for patients with mild anxiety, longer procedures, or more complex situations. This type of sedation is usually administered orally. During the procedure, you remain awake or very sleepy throughout and you are able to breathe on your own while feeling a great sense of relaxation.

For patients with more moderate dental anxiety, conscious sedation often refers to the use of light IV or oral sedation. While you do remain awake during your procedure, you are in a deep state of relaxation. It is recommended that the patient undergoing moderate sedation have someone accompany them as it can take several hours for the sedative to wear off and driving is unsafe during this time.

With deep sedation, patients go between consciousness and unconsciousness during their dental treatment. We offer IV sedation for our more nervous patients who typically have no recollection of their procedure. It is recommended that patients receiving this level of sedation have someone to accompany them to and from their appointment as it can take several hours for the sedative to wear off, and driving is unsafe.
