I graduated from high school in 2012. I started working in the front office about two years before I decided I wanted to go back to school to become a dental hygienist.

I am now getting ready to apply to the dental hygiene program. My hopes are to come back and work at Implant & Periodontic Specialist as a hygienist once I graduate.

When I am not doing homework and studying with my dog, Moose, I like to do hot yoga, hang out with my friends, and watch as many movies as I can. I also play a lot of softball in the spring and summer months.

What is the best part of your job?

Very Professional and Helpful.

They were able to show me that my insurance covered more care than I thought, which was really helpful. Also, this let me get more teeth cleanings per year. Also, they are happy to accommodate me when I'm running behind or have a scheduling conflict.

I am originally from Ukraine, where I grew up with my parents and older brother, but I have lived in the United States for 14 years now. I currently live in beautiful Bellevue, WA with my incredibly loving husband and my amazing 10-year-old son. Why did you choose dentistry? After being exposed to dentistry working in the front office of a dental clinic, it became a passion of mine. It was beyond fascinating and gave me the opportunity to help others and interact with people, which I love to do! My first passion is definitely spending time with my family and friends but dental hygiene has become my close 2nd passion and I am dedicated to sharing that passion with not only my patients but with anyone who will listen as well! Continuing to learn and grow within my profession is very important to me and has been a constant source of motivation for me. What is the best part of your job? Being able to actually help others is by far the best part of my job! What aspect of your personality adds the most value to the office? I am a true extrovert and this helps me to engage even my most timid patients to get them truly involved in there own care. This also helps me to engage my co-workers in our TEAM environment to ensure that we are providing the absolute best possible care for any given patient at any given time. Being able to work effectively together is very important to the success of our office. Teamwork makes the dream work!!
